What is a pop up picnic?

A Pop up Picnic keeps the essential blanket and basket, but adds more flair! It’s a great way to elevate your outdoor gatherings while you mingle with family and friends. We provide the lounge around comfort and elegant table decor as well as a beautiful charcuterie board & beverage, all you need to worry about is where to sit and relax.


How much does a picnic cost?

Picnic costs vary depending on number of guests, add-ons (fresh floral centerpiece, photography, etc.), and sometimes venue-specific fees. There may also be additional costs associated with special requests or accommodations. The best way to get an estimate is to submit an inquiry form.


Does Let’s Picnic provide food and beverages?

Let’s Picnic will provide water and seltzer at no extra cost. Alcoholic beverages will need to be purchased by the client and brought on-site by the party. Let’s Picnic is happy to help you arrange any additional food and beverage you bring for your picnic. All sweets & treats boards a=nd charcuterie are add on’s.


How does payment/deposit work?

A deposit of $100 will be due in order to secure your picnic. Full payment will be due 48 hours prior to the event, after which point cancellation cannot be refunded. If you have ordered any ADD-ONS, Perfectly Picnic will add those fees to your payment. For the payment method, we accept Venmo, Zelle, or Cash.


Can I cancel or reschedule due to weather?

Let’s Picnic doesn’t offer any refunds, but we will reschedule your picnic at no additional cost or issue a credit with enough advance notice. While rare, we sometimes have to move locations or change dates due to weather. Because rain is highly unpredictable (we regularly see 100% chance of rain forecasted only to have sunny skies (and no rain) hours later.) If that looks like weather may affect your reservation, we will reach out with covered locations or rescheduling options. We check the weather regularly and if at the ‘48 hour mark’ and ‘24 hour mark’ there is more than a 30% chance of rain we will contact you to discuss your options. There is no cancellation charge for rescheduling your picnic due to weather if there is over a 30% chance of rain. 


I have guests who are concerned about sitting on the ground– is there an alternative?

Our standard seating is a floor cushion or pillow at our picnic-height tables. Tables are high enough to extend legs underneath or sit cross-legged. If guests foresee having difficulty with this, let us know prior to the event and Let’s Picnic will provide alternative seating (up to 2 per party) at no additional cost.


Where can I have my picnic?

Our location set up schedule is as follows:

Indoor Only: November 1 - April 15

Beach and Outdoor Set Up: April 15 - October 31

Locations are public- we can’t guarantee privacy or exact placement because they are all first-come, first-served. Each location has different rules, regulations and hours of operation - Please email us to confirm location.

Please note: A Travel Fee to Suffolk County is based on mileage from Island Park, NY. $.60 per mile will be added to your invoice. Any permits or fees that are required for use of location will also be added on to your invoice.

When dealing with steep or rough terrain, sand, etc. we may not be able to navigate with all of our equipment, so we try to keep our locations within 35 yards of delivery vehicle access.


I have dietary restrictions? Can you accommodate this?

Yes, please let us know what your dietary restrictions are and we will make sure that your menu is ok for you. You can add this information to the special notes section when you book your picnic. You can also email us.
